Children and Young People |
|
 |
....welcome |
For a whole lot of reasons, some children and young people end up at risk of being abused or neglected. If you live in Dundee and that's happening to you, you're afraid that it might, or if you know someone that it is happening to, then this website is here to help.
Everyone wants to be safe and happy. That doesn't work out for some children and young people all of the time. Things can go wrong at home, with friends, or when you're out in your community. And you don't feel safe and you're not happy.
Sometimes children and young people are put at risk of harm by their parents or their carers; the people who are meant to be looking after them. Sometimes the risk of harm comes from other people that you know, or get in touch with, or who get in touch with you.
Making your way round this site is easy. Children and Young People should use the menu on the left hand side of the page to move through the site.
Parents and Other Adults and People Who Work with Children, Young People and Families, should click on one of the links above.

If you see behaviour that is of concern, or if a child or young person tells you something, you need to take them seriously, do something about it, and speak to someone.
This could be a teacher, a doctor, a health visitor (available through your local surgery or health centre), a social worker, a police officer or nursery staff.
All numbers are (01382) unless otherwise stated.
